Prof. Yuyun Wirasasmita is a Professor in economics at the department of economics, Padjadjaran University. He started his career as a lecturer in the universit in 1961. Prof. Wirasasmita earn his bachelor in economics from Gadjah Mada University (1957), a masters degree in economics from University of Wisconsin, USA (1960), and a Ph.D in economics from Rijksuniveriteit Ghent, Belgium (1989). His resaearch interest is in the area of development economics, the economics of entreuprenership and cooperatives and SMEs development. Along his career, Prof. Wirasasmita has published numerous publications in the field of economics nationally and internationally. Prof. Wirasasmita was former rectors of Padjadjaran University, former deans of the faculty of economics and many others important positions in Indonesina higher educations. Prof. Wirasasmita was considered the founding father of the Faculty of Economics, Padjadjaran University.
